View Of Man World Religions & Cults, 101, required source for student manuals and The Deadliest Monster, optional suggested source

Worksheets provide the student with thought-provoking questions which press him/her to analyze each worldview from the perspective of the scriptures.  Supplemental reading provides detailed information on each worldview,  giving students the opportunity to acquire a deeper understanding of topic matter.

Graphs and scoresheets are created using statitstics from CIA World Factbook and FreedomHouse.org.  The curriculum concludes with summaries and analysis based on score marks for each religion, government type, and nation.

How does one discern from which tree they are being fed? Do you feast on God's truth from the Tree of Life? Or do you dine from the tree of knowledge?

You MIGHT be surprised! Because the tree of knowledge often sounds pretty good. But that tree is where the world's version of religion comes from...and that tree leads only to destruction.

 CIA WORLD FACTBOOK

https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/

We use CIA World Factbook extensively in the curriculum, particularly on the nations worksheets and the statistical charting. The curriculum uses currently available data from 2003-2010 and sometimes 2012. Most statistics have remained fairly static since then, but we are concerned we may be seeing a downturn.

FREEDOM HOUSE

http://www.freedomhouse.org/report-types/freedom-world

Freedom House is a U.S.-based, non-governmental organization begun by Eleanor Roosevelt in 1941. They do research and monitor freedom and human rights issues throughout the world. We use their annual Freedom Report statistics to help us calculate quality of life on our International Misery Index charts. They state that this report is "the standard-setting comparative assessment of global political rights and civil liberties."

e-SWORD

                         http://www.e-sword.net/

"the Sword of the LORD with an electronic edge" eSword is a wonderful source for scripture containing a variety of versions as well as dictionaries, concordances, maps, charts, devotionals and the works of many renowned Bible scholars. No Christian's computer should be without this free resource!
